UMatter is a national organization that was developed specifically for the use of kids and teenagers in middle school and high school. With a website geared towards educating kids about themselves and their peers, UMatter focuses on teens helping teens on a daily basis, rather than placing the responsibility on just parents and teachers
UMatter was recently adopted at the main education source regarding mental health and drug abuse for the kids of CPS. Alliance of Hope
Founded in 2008 by licensed clinical mental health counselor Ronnie Walker, the Alliance of Hope is a national organization is a non for profit 501(c)(3) focused on providing healing support for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Walker founded the organization in honor of losing her step son to suicide in 1995. The Alliance focuses on kindness and acceptance, stating that compassion and support is what is needed most after such a tragic event.

ASAM stands for American Society of Addiction Medicine. Founded in 1954, ASAM is a society of over 4,000 professional medical practitioners working in the field of addiction medicine.
